BELAGA(SARAWAK), Sept 23 -- Belaga State Assemblyman Liwan Lagang (third left) and a political secretary to chief minister Angeline Umis Tajuk (second left) presenting a packet of rice to Long Luar Penan Settlement Chief Madai Saluk, here today.Parti Rakyat Sarawak(PRS) Youth Wing in Belaga led by Liwan, Umis, its chairman Kennedy Chok and its publicity officer Danny Bungan helped to send the aid over a two-day trip to the rugged interiors. The christian organisation of the East Malaysia Latter-Day Saints Charities(LDS) based in Kota Kinablau has donated RM22,000 in aid to two Penan groups affected by fires in Long Luar and Long Kajang, deep in the interiors of the Bleaga Distric in Kapit Division, Sarawak.The aid consisted of among others , 3,000kg of rice, 96 kg of sugar and 48 kgs of cooking oil to be shared by 74 families in Long Kajang and 68 in Long Luar. -- fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
