PORT KLANG, Nov 15 -- Youths from various countries embarking the Fuji Maru to participate in the Southeast Asian Youth Programme here today.Fuji Maru that arrived here on Nov 12 will depart for Bangkok today. A total of 319 participants from Asean and Japan are taking part in this programme initiated by Government of Japan.The programme aims to promote frienship and mutual understanding among youths of Japan and Southeast Asian countries, to broaden their perspectives on the world, as well to strengthen their motivations and abilities in international cooperation by participating in discussions, introductions of each country and various exchange activities both on board and in the countries visited.-- fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
