NEW DELHI, April 10 -- WOMEN'S POWER... India's 16th General Elections enters third phase, which includes National Capital Territory of Delhi as well as 13 other states. India has a total of 28 states and seven union territories with 543 parliamentary seats. Hence, the voting is spread over nine phases, from April 7 to May 12, 2014 -- the longest election in the country's history. A single day counting will take place on May 16, 2014.
