KUCHING, Sept 24 -- The two-term Bandar Kuching Member of Parliament Chong Chieng Jen (fifth from left) flanked by his counsel and family members after an election petition challenging his election victory in the March 8 general election was dismissed by the Election Court here, today. In dismissing the petition, Justice Datuk Clement Allan Skinner declared that Chong, 37, DAP vice-chairman, was duly elected as the Bandar Kuching Member of Parliament (MP) as no corrupt practice had been proven to have been committed by him or with his knowledge and consent as alledged by voter Kho Whai Phiaw, 64. -- fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
