KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 -- Chief Executive Officer of Great Eastern Life Assurance (Malaysia) Berhad, Koh Yaw Hui touch the coins after receiving a mock certificate by Malaysia Book of Records here, today.The charity drive aptly named as "100K for 100 Years" is an initiative to collect RM100,000 and convert it into fifty-cents coins to form the longest chain of fifty-cents coins approximately 5,400 meter in length.The "100K for 100 Years" is purely a Great Eastern project as the money was collected from Great Eastern's caring staff and agents since July 29 this year, and achieved the target in less than a month period.The money collected will be channeled to deserving charity homes across the country via great Eastern's long-term charity programme, ChildrenCare.-- fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
