KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 -- Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim responding to questions from reporters after opening the International Media Centre (IMC) for 6th Developing 8 Countries (D-8) Summit here today.The five-day summit, themed "Meeting Challenges Through Innovative Cooperation, will be officiated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi on Tuesday. The D-8, established in 1997, comprises eight developing Muslim nations - Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
