KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 25 -- Some of the participants listening to the Agriculture and Agro-Based Deputy Minister Datuk Rohani Abdul Karim's opening speech at the Business Leaders' Meeting of the Developing Eight (D8) Ministers' Meeting on Food Security which starts here, today.The meeting is attended by chief executive officers and representatives of companies, the Food and Agricultural Organisation (FOA) and chambers of commerce from D8 member countries.Participants will engage in several closed-door meetings to delibeate on three crucial initiatives for food security, namely, the production and supply of fertilizers and animal feed and creation of seed banks.The meetings include task force discussions on fertilizers to be lead by Petronas, animal feed by felda and seed banks by Sime Darby. --fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
