BANGKOK, June 2 -- Steve Carlisle (left), President of General Motors (GM) Southeast Asia Operations and Chevrolet Sales Thailand, and Antonio Zara, GM's Vice President of Asean Sales, Marketing and Aftersales Service during a press briefing here Tuesday.Carlisle says despite GM entering bankruptcy protection in the United States, its Southeast Asia operations is going ahead with future expansion, including exploring plans to open a manufacturing plant in Malaysia.There are no specific plan at the moment but the company would continue to explore the possibility of setting up the plant.-- fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
