CAPE TOWN, Jan 6 -- A view of a newly-built Green Point Stadium taken from Signal Hill, here. The recently-completed stadium is one of the two semi-final venues for the FIFA World Cup. The other venue hosting the semi-final is the Moses Mabhiba Stadium in Durban, another city in South Africa. The premier international football tournament is scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July this year.According to 2010 FIFFA World Cup South Africa official website, 70,000 capacity multi-purpose Green Point Stadium, situated in one of the prime areas in the city of Cape Town, is also going to be used to stage major events and concerts.--fotoBERNAMA COPYRIGHT RESERVED
